The Space Collective — Social Collaboration for the Future
The Space Collective is a site under development, planning to launch a public beta of its site soon “Where forward thinking terrestrials share ideas and information about the state of the species, their planet and the universe, living the lives of science fiction.
The site is apparently intended to be a think-tank-slash-social-collaboration site to promote future thinking, reflect on the status of humanity, document science and shape ideas about advanced lifestyles and development of humanity.
I came across their sister site, the Collective Perception while browsing and was immediately intrigued by their awesome collection of images and witty phrases spread throughout the page:
We know we are more than just neurons firing. Or, at least we think we are, while the neurons are firing.
Excellent work on the promotion of their site and general marketing. I’m embedding the video preview below, in which they show a part of the site they’re launching along with mentions of what’s part of the plan (a feature-length scifi documentary, for example).
Quite intriguing project and I look forward to seeing more.

Thanks for the link to this project. It…feels like home. I’ve been brainstorming the foundation for a collaborative project of my own that is quite similar in perspective (”speculative science,” if I may) that I have dubbed Mind Kitchen. So it is, as always, a comfort to see proof that like-minds exist to collaborate with.
