Well, it wasn’t too much trouble to create the icon, I just thought why not — if someone wanted to mention that their posts were well received by others Wow, 2 posts a day is indeed a high goal, you pull it off quite nicely! Metal art? I’d like to see that!

Reflecting KuiperCliff’s and John’s comments, thanks much for the mention. I’m glad you enjoyed that post, especially since I don’t particularly like writing about my own personal existential issues all that often. Now that I know, I’ll try to write more honest material like that.

First of all, thanks for the mention.

Secondly, this is a really cool idea. Since you went to all the trouble of creating an icon and all I put it on the article. But you should have it say “Inkblot Earth Featured Entry”! Otherwise people might just think it’s something I put up there and miss the fact that it’s a link back to you…

Finally, I guess “freakishly often” is probably right on. My goal is two new posts each day and I must say it has taken quite a bit of effort and determination to meet that. In fact, in about a week watch for my 500th post!

The only way I can do this is that I don’t have a real job. I “retired” about 2 years ago and now all I have to do is keep up with my personal blog (for fun) and HTMLHelp.com, which is kind of like my job now.

I’d say that I spend about 65% of my time doing these two things, and the rest is spent traveling, working on my metal art, and doing whatever my wife tells me to.
