9rules Launches Site Overhaul Tomorrow
A few weeks ago I announced that Think Artificial had been accepted as a member of 9rules. What went unsaid in that post is that 9rules also offers a community site, or forum, that’s open to the public — with discussions covering everything from science to anime. Tomorrow a new version of the site’ll be launched entitled Ali2, with new features for socializing and general fun-having.
I’m telling you all this because I’ve been a frequent visitor there (to say the least) for several months, and some of my posts here have actually begun as a note on 9r. Since you read my blog it follows you and I must have something in common, and thus, you might enjoy yourself there as well. So, if you’re on the hunt for a place to have interesting discussions, now is a good time to jump on board as there’ll likely be an influx of fellow new users following the Ali2 launch.

Hey, just joined, as you know. Thanks for this post; I didn’t even realize 9rules had all these other community features. Haven’t really found my way around yet, but will soon enough.

It’s striking how many people are only just discovering 9r and especially its community. Makes me think it could grow bigger and faster than we may expect.
I could well imagine it becoming impossible to track everything and several cliques developing their own miniature communities.
But I’m already surmising now. Let’s just enjoy this day and hope you develop some HCI gizmo by then so we can keep up

Yeah, I’m feeling that already. I’ll think up a direct brain machine interface for us just in case.
But I’m amazed at how fast I think the new design has grown on me just since the launch yesterday! Everything feels a lot more familiar and easy to navigate.
